Hi! I'm Josh, and I make mobile apps for my two young children. Kid Garden is where I share our favorite apps with the world.
I design each app iteratively and test it with help from our Product Quality team (ages one and four).
As a parent and a backend engineer working in digital games and online security, I understand the importance of child safety, data privacy, and security.
That's why Kid Garden is committed to making simple apps that delight our children while collecting no user data, requiring no account registration, showing no ads, and offering no in-app purchases without parental controls.
What we make
Kid Garden began when we couldn't find a simple picture gallery app designed for children that also prioritized safety and security.
I wanted to open an app, hand my phone to my toddler, and feel confident about my child's safety and the privacy of my photos.
So we created Picture Garden, a playful space where children can explore curated photo collections. I hope your family enjoys it as much as we do!
